S/4 eror: M7656 - BATCHES ARE DEFINED AT PLANT LEVEL. SPECIFY PLANT - M7 656

Hi Gurus,

In S/4, when we post customer consignment stock (Movement type: 633 W - ), facing this error: M7656 - BATCHES ARE DEFINED AT PLANT LEVEL. SPECIFY PLANT, not sure why this happening, other normal stock with batch post is ok, only special stock W with batch is error, please help, thank you very much.

Did you check whether the corresponding stock of 631W is there ? What process you follow ? Your post is not having full information. Please explain the steps you followed in SAP.

yes, it's customer consignment process, stock already transferred to customer consignment, now, just issue it by 631 W -.

What setting ? The purpose of this forum is to share the solutions each member is getting so that those who have similar issue can take the inputs from here. Just by indicating the above comments is not going to help anybody.

By the way, the issue movement type is 633W and not 631W as indicated by you.

Sorry, forget to say it, for this issue, need to patch up SNOTE 2573859, after that, it's ok now.
