Hi everybody.
I have a problem with user creation. I mean, when i come on creation user page, the field concurrent user is selected. What i want is to lock this field, and when i come on this page, i need the field named user selected by default.
I need it because when i want to import users from dev to prod with the import wizard, it generates a mistake because of this field.
Can someone help me ?
Thanks & Regards,
Jlizzul
I see what you want, i already look that. But we work with enterprise authentification.
On Windows NT & AD, concurrent user is selected. But... It's the same for prod & dev, and on prod, named user is selected by default...
Another thing i don t understand : On prod, we created a user who can create user. This user has concurrent user selected. But administrators has named user selected. I checked all the rights in all CMC, applications, users, folders, univers... Everything is the same on both side...

yes, with the same informations. The number of concurrent users is set to 0

What is your authentication type - is it Enterprise, LDAP, Active Directory.
Depending on which one if you look in the CMC under Authentication I think there is an option for 'New Users are created as either CAL or Named Users. Can you check that setting. Sorry I can't be more specific but I don't have XIr2 in front of me.

What licence do you have : We have named licence only for 'BusinessObjects Enterprise Professional Version'
Are you on Enterprise (professional or premium) or Edge : Professional i think...
Also do you have enough named users to support what you are importing : Yes, i created the users one by one after the failure
Finally, what is the error message you receive from the Import Wizard :
Exportation object validation failed to CMS of destination. Reason : you don t have concurrent user licence to make this user an user.
