Install QaaWS - Can't find the setup files

Hello.

I hope it's the correct board for this type of question.

During my masterthesis I'm exploring the Business Objects products.

The company I'm working in owns the BO Enterprise 3.0 software, Crystal Reports 2008, Live Office 2008 and Xcelsius 2008.

Now I want to install the Qeury as a Web Service feature.

It's explained in the user guide for qaaws that it can be found on the installation cds or packages. But I can't find it there.

Could anyone explain to me where I can find it. Or is it an extra product that must be bought seperatly?

It is part of the standard client tools installation. You do not have to install it separately.

I've found it in the meantime.

Now I'm looking for the "BO for SAP Integration".

Is that an extra tool?

Yes, there is a SAP Integration kit whiich you will need to down load. Depending on how you want to use it you will have to install it on server and client machines.

Does there exist an other way to connect the BO Suite with a SAP BW?

I belive it is possible, throught he use of standard Web Services - but it is not easy and beyoond my skillset
