Unable to delete leave

Hi,

A particular user in the system cannot delete the leave, that is when the user is selecting a particular date, then the button "DELETE" is not appearing. Can anyone please let me know why this is happenning to only this user?

Also check the authorisation of the user! When it is posted, You should be able to delete it!

Have you configured it to be deleted?Just check the status of the leave request too?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.The leave request is posted in IT2001 of the user. The problem is occurring to only this user. The leave request is in status "completed". Please let me know how to proceed with this.

1. You can use the report RPTARQUIATEST in the backend & verify/debug the Request.

2. You can delete it in the backend using the function module PT_ARQ_REQUEST_EXECUTE in SE37.

If this is only occurring for a single user, has the user hidden the button by personalizing the screen? Try re-setting the personalize options.

Hi,

The problem is solved.

Ran the report RPTARQUIATEST for this particular user and found that the status was rejected. then checked system workflow log to find that the request was first approved by the manager. Then the request for deletion was raised by the user.The manager rejected the deletion request. Hence the system was not allowing to apply the deletion request again for the same date.

Please same problem haapend to me, can give me how you solve it.

in production, same issue happend in my case Delete button displayed but unable to delete the delete request because approver not found.

in Qulaity, it deleted..

please tell me how you solve that .

Hi Ganesh,

If the problem is the error 'Input help for approver', then goto tcode PTARQ > Determine Approver>input the personnel no. of the user for whom u are facing the problem and check whether the manager is maintained.

Check the users org structure for the user with 'Chief Position'.
