How to Change-Desktop inner page

Hi

I want to plug custom iview in the Detailed Navigation of Default Home Page of the Portal Page.

Detailed Navigation is coming from Desktop Innerpage.

I want the Path of Desktop innerpage.

AW,

You can access the desktop inner page from this location.

PCD-> Portal Content->Content provided by SAP->End User Content->Right click and open "Default framework page" there you would locate the desktop inner page.

Please be clear while posting.

Open default framework page by navigating through the path mentioned by sandeep and you can find desktop innerpag.......and try to edit default framework page as pr your requirement.

please post clearly your requirement.

My requirement is like this.I want show once Webapplication in the place of Detailed Navigation.

How its possible?

I created iView and Page for Webdynpro application means thats there in Page i want show in the place of Detailed Navigation.

Hi Adam,

It's easy to find out where the original object is by using the "Delta Link Tracer". Just mark the object (the Desktop Innerpage or the iViews in the Page) and click on "Delta Link Tracer" and then on the object -> Locate in Portal Catalog.

The Desktop Innerpage is a delta link copy of the page "Default Page Template" pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/admin.templates/pages/com.sap.portal.portalpagetemplate) later changed (as you can see on the not equal sign).

I tried with Delta Link Tracer.I tried with that path i am unable to find Desktop Innerpage alone.

Could you please tell the exact path of the Desktop Innerpage.

Hi Adam,

The Desktop Innerpage is an object which inherits properties from the Default Page Template (which is located in the Content Provided by SAP -> Admin Interfaces -> Admin Page Template). You cannot directly get the Desktop innerpage in Portal Content. May be you can create a delta link for Default Template Page in your project folder and then rename it and edit it.

Another idea would be to create a Delta Link of the Default Framework Page in your project folder and then editing Desktop Inner page in it.

The Final thing you can try out is to download a copy of Desktop inner page par file (com.sap.portal.innerpage) from portal server then rename it and edit it using studio. Do the modifications, rebuild the par and then upload the par file to portal server to see your changes.
