Difference between CHDHR-CHANGE_IND and CDPOS-CHNGIND field

Hi SAP Gurus,

What is the Difference between 'Application Object Change Flag' field of CHDHR table and 'Change Indicator' field of CDPOS table?

And how values is populated in above these fields?
