hi experts,

would any one please explain how we can control the release strategy for my client whose requirement is as follows...

the MRP generated requiremnets should be an exception to release strategy(no release strategy),and the manually created purchase orders and prequistions should be applicable to release strategy.

please provide the solution

You can use "creation indicator" as one of your release characteristic (from structure CEBAN - ESTKZ )
