How to bring the option of lot size range in BOM ?

Hi,

I am working on IDES system. I am not able to see the option of lot size range in BOM.

The technical type field is also not editable. If it requires to bring 'M' in technical type, will the purpose will be solved..? If yes, please guide to bring it in modifying option.

If you are looking for some example in IDES to see lot size range, check in table MAST field STLAL with value 2 , it will give you BOM's having alternative BOM's , once you get any entry , use CS03 and key in material number , plant and usage, and result will give you a screen showing both altwrnatives showing Lot size range field too.

Similarly if you try to create a alternate BOM , you can find same fields as your may want to consider and alternate BOM for another lot size range.

Sorry, I forgot, to give the Lot Size Details area, where , you can maintain the From & To Lot Sizes, in the BOM, if you have Multiple BOM
T code : CS02 ( Click On BOM Header)
Please find the below attached screen shot, where, the Lot size details can be maintained

Regarding the Technical Type : M of the BOM
Technical Type : M Indicates, it is a Multiple BOM ( Meaning is, there are more then one Alternate BOMs for the same Header material)

Technical Type : __( Blank) indicates that, it is Simple BOM ( Meaning , it has only one alternate BOM, as of now)

Also, the movement , you create the second alternate, then, then the Technical Type will get automatically updated as M.
