Hello,
I've created 2 filesystem repositories, both on separate windows servers and on a different host as the portal installation (also running on windows). Both repositories are not working (startup failed) with the following error:
The localroot does not exist:
<IP address>\<shared folder>
When I changed the repositories to a local filesystem (e.g. drive letter d:\) it's working fine.
I'm sure that I did all the steps described on help.sap.com. There are two other portal installations using the same shares and it's working there. But with exactly the same settings it's not working in the portal I configured.
On the server the "problem portal" is installed, windows is able to map the shares (e.g. map to drive X:\) but not the portal (same users and network path). So the shares are reachable with the given user/PW.
I already read some postings concerning the same error. But I didn't find a solution.
What could be the problem or where can I find more detailed logs for the error?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards
Joachim
