Hi Friends,
I have a doubt regarding personnel administration i:e, suppose an employee(includes his personnel number)unfortunately deleted from the organization,how can we hire the particular employee with the same personnel number.can u explain me in detail.
even though it is internal or extarnal
First check with the PERNR NO in PA30 later delete the NO useing PU00 and PU01
i mean pay roll results also if any now go to PA04
there set ur the before number of the deleted one
EX- if u deleted the no 10 set the the number in status feild as 09

If you want use the deleted personnel no: Go for Pa04 t.code then select the status after the select the your personnel serial no. Then current position change to your choice mean whatever no do you want.
Then, after hire the employees(completion of whatever no, you need) then change to current no, previous whatever existed. If you are not change, whenever you are doing hiring action for the employee again we will get the error.
so that, you have to change the no.

and the tocdes which u have to use in this scenario are
PA04 for number ranges to know the stauts of the PERNR NO
PAR2 is the tcode to know the list of employee PERNR NO who are active and inactive
and PE03 NUMKR

The answer to your question depends on the type of number assignment, i.e. external or internal number assignment.
1. If the number assignment is External, you can simply assign the deleted number to a person while hiring.
2. If the number assignment is Internal, first you have to change the Current Number field of the respective number range to DeletedNumber-1, and then hire the employee. After the deleted number is assigned, you can change the Current Number field to previous one. This can be done through PA04 TCode.
