Looking forward for the doc's on PCR's & Schema.
I was given business rules of OVERTIME AND PART TIME Workers(e.g 1.5hrs Overtime). How do I go about this in Time Evaluation and what step to take in the schema.
You are my Hero and will remain my mentor in SAP world.
Thanks Madhu & Kind Regards,

(Personnel Calculation Schema or Schema) defines the order and contents of a country-specific payroll program (payroll driver) or time evaluation program (time evaluation driver).
- There are main schemas and subschemas.
- A main schema must be executable. It can be used directly as a parameter in the payroll or time evaluation driver.
- The payroll driver runs the sequence based on the tasks specified by the schema.
- The standard system (client 000) includes an international payroll schema (X000) and different international and country-specific schemas.
- Country Specific Schemas ex: US - U000, India - IN00.
- The Custom schema should be copied from Standard schema ex: X000 to Z000 to add your custom schemas or rules.
- Subschemas are schemas accessed by the COPY function. They can be accessed from a main schema or subschema. Subschemas are used to carry out subtasks for Payroll and Time Evaluation.
EX:
BLOCK BEG
COPY ZSUB Subschema added to the main schema
BLOCK END
- The BLOCK function can be nested. In a subschema, there must be a block
end for each block begin.
- The BLOCK function allows you to structure the payroll accounting
process log.

Schema is more like a programming language.
It has set of instruction and operations. Schemas are used in Time Management and Payroll extensively.
Compared to a traditional programming language Schema is complex and needs lot of reading and learning.
For most of the standard functions, SAP does deliver the schemas or sub schemas.
I dont think someone can make you an expert on schema from this forum. It is way too complex for that.
May be someone can help if you have specific question about how to change or write a new schema.
Pick up a good book / Sap Help and get a sap installation and take it as a challenge
Good luck.
