Hi

Company code currency is the currency which will be used for posting your day to day transactions, which will be used for legal reporting. When you create a new company code, you set its Local Currency as the currency of the country in which it is located.

Controlling area currency is the Currency in which cost accounting is performed. The controlling area currency appears as a default in the cost accounting objects (such as cost centers) but can be overwritten at any time if required.

Group currency is the currency which is specified in the client table or which is to be entered there.

Hard currency is a country-specific second currency which is used in countries with high inflation.

Index-based currency is a country-specific fictitious currency which is required in some countries with high inflation for external reporting (for example, tax returns).

Global company currency is the currency which is used for an internal trading partner.
