Dear Nanda,

1. u can confirm the scrap only for the order header material, it is not possible to confirm in operation/order confirmation for order item materials.

2. suppose, if ur both(micro phone and simlid) order items are subassemblies, each sub assembly will have its own order in that only u need to confirm.

3. If microphone and simlid are raw materials, then u need to issue extra to the order. any item qty extra if u r issuing to the order more than the BOM qty, by system it will b considerd as the over materials consumption or scrap and account will b settled to header material only

Hi,

This is possible only when you are handling the sub-assemblies with different production orders. For micro phone u need to create a seperate production order. For simlid you need to create a seperate production order. Then only you can post the scraps seperately against the production orders.

Hi,

The production order is created for the Finished product only. Also we are confirming the finished product only. We can book the finished product as a scrap, we can't book the components as scrap, instead of that you can consume extra qty of the components with compared to your BOM qty.

say examplr your BOM qty is 1 nos, you can do the goods issue for 2 nos, means that 1 nos got scrap and consumed 1 component more.

Hi,

For components we cannot post scrap directly. Instead it will go as a variance. Always you will get the report of Planned qty versus Actual qty in Material consumption report ie MCRE. The difference between actual and planned will be the scrap.
