Hello,
I have the following error with the E2E extractors jobs of SMD : MDX cache invalidation failed. I looked at the E2E troubleshoot guides, but they don't give any solution regarding this issue.
Can somebody help me solve it ?
Thank you for your help.
Regards,
Benjamin Rouger
Hi,
I learnt the hard way to get EWA running but i hope this helps:
goto SDCCN on your remote SAP system (not SolMan)
menu option goto -> settings - > task specific
RFC destinations - > click on the table
click the change button at the bottom and create a new entry for your solution manager and specify the RFC link to your SolMan system. once done tick on Master box. Make sure SDCC_OSS is not ticked as Master and the SID for your SolMan system is in your new row. Once created and clicked ok it will check the connection to the remote system. if it doesn't work then check the username and password combination. Next time you create a task for EWA select the SolMan connection.
Hope it helps
Mani

Hi guys,
Try to invalidate MDX cache manually by launch URL http://xxx:xxx/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcsmde2ewa/MdxCacheMonitor
or test in SM59 transaction destination RFC MDX PARSER.
If connection test is unsuccessful, try to upgrade mdxsvr executable at kernel level.
Best Regards,
David
