Variant value not effected in Production Environment

Hi Friends,

In Production Environment , SAP_REORG_JOBS is the Job name for Cleaning the job logs with ABAP program RSBTCDEL , Variant Client 000 (set for 7 days)

But the customer wants to jobs logs to cleanup after 9 days, so changed the Variant value to 9 days..... But it is not effected. Jobs are not logged for 9 days, but for only 7 days.

The Same scenario is in Test Environment, where variant is set for 15 days ( set earlier),and it gets effected.

What may be the possible reason..
