No entry of MR results on installation or removal

Dear All,

I do not want to enter MR results for any registers which are not relevant for payroll. so I have some devices with up to 50 registers, but only 2 of them are for payroll.

Now, how can I flag them them in order to prevent that I´m forced to enter any MR results for the non-payroll relevant registers on an installation or removal of my device?

They are already flagged as not payroll relevant.

Andy ideas would be appreciated!

Thx a lot!

Dear Harald,

It is right, later if you want you can flag on those ticks marks during installation so that the registers would be proposed for installation.

The best is to have a seperate register group created for these cases.

Dear Haralad,

While installing the devices if you want to block registers which are not needed, Before doing full installtion(EG31), you can use the change register group transaction (EG05) for that particular register group and flag off the field 'Propose during installation' for that particular registers which you wouldnt like to install. That way you woldnt have to enter results for those registers which are not necessary.

Dear Balaji,

yes, that works pretty fine, thx a lot. And if I want to add registers again, I can undo the flag, only would have to remove and add the device again to make it work.

Thx
