passing planning function variable values

Hi all,

I have a manual input variable on Committed Items in a planning function. When I execute this it asks me the variable value and does the needful. Now I would like to pass this variable value automatically to a dropdown list of Committed Items in another part of my webtemplate or to another analysis item as committed item restriction.

How do I do this? I understand there is this SET_selection_state_by_binding? can someone direct me pls

You can create a checkbox in your WAD and link it with your variable in planning function using command SET_VARIABLES_STATE.
