Hi there,
I'm writing some manual for customers, and I can't in simple words write 3 definitons. Those definitions have to be understandable and very simple.
Definitions about:
- what is role
- what is profile
- what is autorization object
I have no idea how to explain to basic users.
Best regards
You could say that...
An Authorization Object is the most basic expression of what a user can do permissions wise on a particular situation.
A Role is a group of authorization objects that combined give your the desired access to certain tasks... Once the Role is created a Profile for this role is generated.
A Profile is group of authorizations generated from a Role, When authorization checks run all user profiles on the User Master Record will be checked to allow or deny access to the task requested.
Thats my 2 cents
Regards
Juan
