Validation of Business Area for Company code

Experts,

Bus. Area is in client level. I have three company codes in a client. I want to validate that

if document relates to xxxx company then only Business area to be accepted as AAAA.

Like that i have to do for all the transactions performed by the user. How .

Hi,

Make the validation in OB28. Define prerequisites as company code and check on business area.

But I need confirmation that can we validate for a company code and a particular business areas for all the transactions or for a specific transactions. Is it possible.

Yes, it's possible. Transaction code could be set as prerequisite as well, if you want to.

Hi,

If you want to restrict only that Business Area to a particular user, check with basis guys, you can do it through authorisations so that he will not be able to post any thing to the other business areas.
