How to convert pdf file data to excel file

Dear sap Friends ,

I have a requirement from my company side . I have converted my smartforms into pdf format but i need to convert that pdf file to excel . I have used 'RSPO_DOWNLOAD_SPOOLJOB' function module . But the data is not coming in proper manner it is aligned .

do we have any method to convert pdf to excel in proper way means all columns correctly placed .

    hi,

    you take that data into an internal table and then call the fm GUI_DOWNLOAD and it will convert to excel.pass filtype as DAT.

      HI,

      Thanks for reply . OK I will take smart forms data into internal table and then use the aforesaid f.m. but this process is not generalized means i have to do it for each smart form . i want a common method which will convert smart forms data or pdf data directly into excel . is there any way out for this .

      Will u plz elaborate this function module .means what we have to write in

      CALL FUNCTION 'HRHAP_POPUP_EXCEL_DOWNLOAD'

      EXPORTING

      T_DOCUMENTS =

      S_REFERENCE =

      becoz i have never used this f.m. before .

    Once you got PDF than for PDF to Excel you may need 3rd party S/W other than SAP.
