Is there some way by which it can done?

Hi
Please check what you have customised in OPSJ ( Chage view Project no editing )
In OPSJ in coding maks filed you have to use X if you want to use alphaneumeric project coding mask.
You can code the project definition according to various criteria in order to,
The characters in project editing are masked as follows:
"X" stands for alphanumerical characters
"0" stands for numerical characters

Regards,
Singh,
I am tried to get similar error, I could got the similar error while defining Project numbering editing in OPSJ.
In OPSJ in coding mask filed should use T-000-X- but ,
your are trying with T-000X- ( system will give surely error when you are not seperating numeric (0) and alpha numeric( X) values in maks. It 's standard behaviour )
I have created project with this settings. ( T-000-X). with T-000-X maks your requirement will satisfy.
Also please make sure that - ( hyfen) special characters should you have defined in OPSK.
I believe it will slove your problem.

Nitin

This is the standard system behaviour.
suppose if you want project code as T-00A.
then instead of defining project coding mask as T-00X, which system will not take.
Define it as T-XXX
Then you can create your code as T-00A, T-01B,T-11C...T-00X and so on.
This is the only solution i suppose to be there.
