Smartform layout shifting to right.

Hi All,

I have a problem with Smartform. Output medium is to fax. When I execute tcode the sent Smartform through fax is printed but left most column( one character) is not displaying. Shall i need to shift the layout set to right or shall i do anything? Suggest me ASAP.

Hello Ramesh,

Since the Output type is meant for only Fax you will not be able to change any Printer settings here..

Because when you go to Communication method you will find only Fax number there..

So the best way to check and fix the issue is

Go to Transcation code, eneter appropriate data and type the Output type and press enter

AFter that go to Communication Method, there you can give the fax number. Check if you have any Fax machine available locally and provide the fax number in that Communication method. GO ahead and take a fax copy.

If you are able to get teh fax copy correctly then it is not an issue with the Layout they need to set right there fax settings....

This is will resolve the issue...

Hi,

Please increase the left margin by 0.50CM for the whole layout and adjust the width of the whole layout by reducing by 0.50CM and test the fax output.

check in ur page format if it is coming correct in print preview then check ur fax settings

Hi ,

Chek the print preview or do take a printout of ur form . If its getting printed perfectly u dont need to make any changes . The basis person or the system admin will solve the problem .

Try to shift the layout to right or else you can chck for the page layout.

See the windows dimensions also.
