Absence Quota

Hi

In the tcode "PA30":

When I am trying to create the Absence Quota (IT 2006) with the leave type (09) I get the error

"Subtype chosen is invalid"

Can you please help ?

HI,

Check ur counting rule.

The absnce Quotas Type ur Create r not check first.

check the condition like assign the absncetype to counting rule.

personnel sub area grouping for time recording Also.

TM>TE>Time evalution settings >Grouping PSg for Time recording Info.

Have you assigned abesnece type to absence quota.

Pls check that one.

HI,

I hope you have manually entered the subtype in PA30 try to select the absence type from the system dispalyed Absence types. and say create you will be able to create a absence type.

or check with the PSG grouping for absence quotas.

check whether u have consigured the proper absesence quota or not once check V_T591A table whether the subtype u created exists or not

Thanks for the advise.

But I created the subtype 09 in that table V_T591A and then tried to create the infotype 2006(Absence Quota) but still get the same error "The subtype is invalid".

Please advise.

hi manish after configuring the absence quota for your sub type you run the report for that sub type. if not just go to SE38 and and type RPTQTA00 and execute and give your emp nos to whom u have to give this sub type quota and enter the subtype no and live run after that u will check. mostly it may come otherwise just send your configuration part to me and i will check and find the error ok. try the best bye good luck and my mail id is parthuhr@gmail.com

In PA30, After you specify the infotype name, in the Subtype field use the F4 help and check if the subtype 09 is shown.

If not, then check the employee group / sub group grouping and PSA grouping are valid for the employee selected.

As told I ran the report "RPTQTA00 " with the infotype 2006 and subtype 09 but there was no "Absence Quota" generated.

hi manish that is the problem. with out generating the quota we cant configure define in infotype. ok manish go and check ur psa time recording no and psa quota no. and check u assign the same nos to ur es group r not.

manish which time evaluation u r using. if negative time management. just go to pt60 and run the time evaluation for ur pernr no and check the time evaluation is successfully completed r not. if not what is the error. send me that error then i can send the exact error where u did. because i don't no ur quota configuration.

Verify in your configuration if this leave type is def. in absence quota geneation in IMG.
