Component Monitoring in Integration Monitoring

Hi

In the Component Monitoring of Integration Monitoring.

I am seeing ADAPTER Engine in RED.

Please let me know, whether there will be any issue because of this

Hi Madn,

Even the Adapter Engine appearing as red color, it will not effect to any scenario. But you can find the errors in the same page by clicking on details.

Based on this r you getting any errors in your scenarios?

Hi,

Check which adapter is throwing the error and u can resolve accordingly the. Check out "Adapter Monitoring" or "Communication Channel Monitoring" to see the list of all adapters.

Adapter engine is red only if any of the configured CC is in error, This will not cause any problem as long as you are able to run any scenario. If any of the scenario is working then its fine.

for checking adapter engine check the same page of component monitoring in bottom

Is the Adapter Engine running? click on details to see the errors if any.

Hi

It is showing the following error

2 communication channels have an error status0 communication channels inactive0 communication channels not providing any status information0 adapters logging communication-channel-independent processing errors

Pls help

Hi Madan,

This will not create any problem to your scenarios. You interfaces will work properly even it is having the red.

Hi,

May be you are using some different SP. Currently i am on PI 7.0 SP15 and whenever you will click on the detals next to Is the Adapter Engine running? you will get a message like Adapter Engine functioning without errors

and also adapter engine button should be green at bottom left. Try running one simple scenario, if any of the scenario is running that means its fine.

Hi,

As mentioned earlier, why don't u check out which adapter is throwing the error because of which the "Adapter Engine" is in Red?? If ur scenario uses one of the errored adapter, it will definitely not work. So please see check which adapter and the error corresponding to it.

It can be possible that any of your CC is in Error status. Due to this reason the AE status is RED.
