How to use SAP BW Profile into Lumira 1.31 through SAP BI Plataform?

Hello,

I’m using Lumira 1.31.0, SAP BI Plataform, SAP BW Windows 740 and BEx Analyzer.

I am creating Dashboard in Lumira Desktop, based on Views from SAP BEX Analyzer, and using SAP BI Plataform to public the Dashboard.

I want that Lumira use the same profile created in SAP BW, but when I use an user with profile and try to show data into Lumira the page returns with the message "No data matches your filter(s)".

The profiles do not show problems in BEx.

My user has no profile associated and I use it to create the Dashboard and when I connect in SAP BI Plataform I can see the data correctly. But when I use an user with profile, even with full access, the dashboard load and returns the same message "No data matches your filter(s)".

Anyone an idea?

Hi Lilian - what access does the user have on the BI Platform?

I also recommend running an STAUTHTRACE on the BW backend with the user to determine which authorizations may be missing

Hi Tammy,

We run STAUTHTRACE on the BW, but the result shows only BI_ALL as an error.

I suspect that we need to have an specific authorization object that permits "Execute External Applications". But we didn't identify the exactly object for this during the trace.

Do you know something related to this point? Or suggestion another kind of investigation?

Lilian - please check the security in the BI Platform CMC:

• Acquire Data in SAP Lumira Server
• Launch Lumira Documents/Analysis Application

• Check folder permissions

Hi Tammy,

In order to check CMC, we gave "Administrator Profile" to Test User and the same result without data was presenting. When I try to create a Dashboard in Lumira Desktop with this Test User, the data is not showed in the "Visualize" tab.
