QTACC, QTTRANS, and absence quota entitlements

Hi Experts,

I have configured an absence quota and a transfer rule, that says that the quota continues to accrue for as long as an employee is active, but employee will only reach entitlement for that absence after 7 years in service (based on a date in IT0041).

I am now trying to test this functionality, I've adjusted the date in IT0041 to be exactly 7 years ago, so if i run time eval for a period around today, i was told that I can see differences in tables QTACC/QTTRANS before and after the date of entitlement.

Now I'm not really sure what I should be looking for in QTACC and QTTRANS as proof that my configuration was done correctly, because i'm not familiar with the purpose of these 2 tables.

I hope someone can shed some light in as much detail as possible on how it works with regards to the 2 tables above.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi,

Please try to change the feature-ENTRY ( Rule for Determining Entry Date). Then in table V_T559L(Rule for base entitlement) will be effective according the date type in IT0041.

Hope to help you!

Hi,

I know where I can find these tables and I know they're handled by function QUOTA.

And I know i can view them in the PT60 log or PT66 results.

Can someone please properly answer my original question?

Hi Kevin

If you have changed the entry date in IT0041 back so that the 7yr anniversary is around now, force Time eval from system go-live date for the employee and then check PT50 for this employee -> in the selection dates tab click on the "All" button (bottom right hand side of screen) and then select the Accural information tab, this will show all leave types accruing on which date and when the leave type roll into entitlement. This way you can check if your leave is rolling in on 7yr anniversary.

Just in case anyone decides to copy-paste from help.sap.com..

I've already read the descriptions for these tables:

QTACC

Table QTACC contains the accrual entitlements that were generated by time evaluation on the relevant date of the accrual.

You can view detailed information on the generation by double-clicking the appropriate line.

QTTRANS

Table QTTRANS indicates the status of the transfer pool for each day. The cumulated entitlements are indicated until they have been transferred to the Absence Quotas infotype (2006) or until the entitlement has expired.

You can view detailed information on the transfer pool and on the transfer by double-clicking the appropriate line.

I guess i don't really understand what a transfer pool is either
