Hello,
is SAP Data Hub an available service in SAP Cloud Platform, either for SAP NEO or Cloud Foundry, yet?
I am interested in understanding how IoT data can be read from a HANA DB in SCP (either NEO or Cloud Foundry) as structured data.
Thanks and best regards,
Fabio
Hello Fabio,
The SAP Data Hub is currently not available on SCP but on SAP CAL:
Make the SAP Data Hub 1.0 SPS 03, trial edition work for you
This would allow you to store your IoT data basically anywhere (in this example SAP Vora, but SAP HANA, HDFS, etc. would work similarly):
Send your Raspberry Pi sensor data to SAP Vora via Apache Kafka managed by the SAP Data Hub
Concerning IoT data in SCP, if you like, please have a look at:
Analyse your Raspberry Pi I2C sensor data with the HANA Cloud Platform, predictive services
Best regards
Frank
