Dear Experts

I need cloud hosting for SAP B1 any version

Also 10 -15 users will be accessing the system

i need the server like 24*7*365

i need to install sql 2014 + version or hana db

am looking for AWS, MS OR Google

its for India localisation.

what details should i give to a cloud partner reg the spec of Cloud

pls help me to sort it out

I have never worked with aws and my understanding in regards to EC2, EBS and r4.large is not good.

If you work with public cloud providers :

You need atleast 4 server, all may be of different configurations if you want to set cloud infrastructure. Later you can use more servers of low or equal configuration for load balancing and many more.

Those four servers are

Domain controller - a low/average configuration server, to manage your domain and integration.

Cloud control center - where you install sap server, high configuration server, min 8 GB of ram + 1 gb aproxx ram for each number of users.

Database server - very similar to cloud control server, sql/ any databaseinstallation.

Front end server - which your users will access. A low/average configuration server.

Works almost same as when you have a single on premise server. You just can't call it a cloud infrastructure setup.

i enquire with a partner of AWS -

so am new to cloud, so i want to know when talk to a partner what and all details should i say,

pls see the below details as per i talk to a partner of aws

SAP Business One 9.2 Server (10 User's) 8 core, 10 users,30 GB With Windows Running
24 Hrs/Day Usage

This is what the partner given, for this how much do i need to pay yearly along with support

EC2 (r4.large) SAP Server Primary Data Storage 1 SSD Root volume of 120 GB Secondary Volume 1 SSD 60 GB S3 Bucket - EBS Volume monthly 3 snapshots 1 Bucket Standard on reaching 300 GB volume

for server specification -

For database server and cloud control : 8 gf of initial ram + 1 Gb approx ram for each user

For domain controller and front end - dual core, and 8 gb of total ram in each server is sufficient.

And 300-500 GB of total space is sufficient at starting which you can distribute among all 4 servers. More at ccc and database server and low at domain and front end.
