Hello
I have a portal which valid uses will access from internet.
No Problem in doing this.
Now say i want to restict only a few Users to use the Portal from Internet
i.e if they try to login to the portal through internet then some message like "not allowed from internet"
to be shown .
However these users should be able to Login from inside the Company LAN.
Sounds Strange , but that is the requirement.
Any One has the Idea how to achieve this ?
Regards
Rajendra

Hi,
This is very interesting. My initial thought would be that you develop a custom login module which would only allow the users you want to login to login (via some sort of white-list or UME group). Then you would need to be able to distinguish external from internal users - you might even be able to determine that in the login module by looking at the IP address of the incoming request (as you probably know your internal IP range).
Any way just a thought,
Hope it might help or trigger some other ideas!
Simon
