Hi
We intend to acquire a new ERP developed in PB 12.6. Some custom modules will be developed from scratch using PB 12.6.
The software vendor claims that PB 12.6 is a tool for developers and not the ERP's version but I noticed that "SAP announced No Maintenance Renewals beyond June 2018".
Are there any implications that could arise after June 2018 for my company?
PowerBuilder 12.6 is an old version and won't be supported after June. Appeon PowerBuilder 2017 R2 is the current version. I would suggest getting that to remain supported and to take advantage of the new features that Appeon is adding to the product.

Hi Nemetes;
Yes, PB 12.6 was EOL'ed on January 31, 2018 and is due to go out of support on June 30, 2018. The PB product development and its sales were transferred to Appeon on June 5, 2016. Newer versions of the PB product are now only available from Appeon.
Regards ... Chris
