Hi,
Say finished product code is fin1. It has 3 semi finished, say s1, s2, s3
s1 has components a, b, c
s2 has a, b, d
s3 has a, c, d
Is there any report where I can see for 1 quantity of fin1 , how many qauntities of 'a' is required?
CS11, CS12 , CS15 are not serving clients purpose.
Please reply.
Regards.

Hi,
CS11 explodes BOM level by level. So if my semi finished is at different levels, it explodes at different levels. So due to this I could not find the summation of my total semi finished.
In CS13 i can see only the different ROHs maintained in my BOM. believe me, i could not find any semi finished at all!
my finished product say F1 is made of s1, s2, s3 ( semi finished) and r1( raw material)
s1 is made s2 and r1.
s2 is made of r1 and r2
s3 is made of r3 and r4
CS11 explodes all. but do not give me cumulative details. It shows as that s2 is required 1 quanity in this level and 1 quantity in another level. But not as s2 is required 2 quantities in total. So I went to CS13
now CS13 says
r1 required quantity is 3
r2 required quantity is 1
r3 required quantity is 1
r4 required quantity is 1
It adds raw materials, its ok but there is no mention of s1 or s2 or s3 at all, believe me!

Yasir,
You are write about what you see in CS13 after Excute.
Do the thing before Execute as below - :
filled the data as Material,Plant,BOM Application & required qty.then press F5(View).Here do Tick mark on Sub Assembly & then Execute. On Next screen you will find the result as per your requirement.
You can change the Layout as per your Requirement.
Hope this will help you.

Dear Yasir,
Check in T Code CS13 enter the parent material (for which you need to find the component's along
with their quantity required), plant and in the required quantity field enter the value as you need, say for
making 10 quantity or 20 and execute.
Check & revert back . I hope it meets your requirements.

Yasir,
CS11 should meet your end...the only catch is that it will not sum up the quantities required for "a". you would have to sort it based on material number and then add all the quantities.
If the above does not meet your client's need You can create a custom report having logic similar to CS11 and then combining the quantities for the material.

Hi Yasir:
I think that if for your client is not usefull the tx CS11, CS12, etc... what is the reason?
Try this procedure:
You need create a IndReq for the Fin1 by a 1 qty., so then run a tx MD02 - Plan.ind.varios niv. , so then you can checkit the Fin1 in the MD04, then click on Order Report icon for display the Overview Tree, then double click on the component "a" and you can see the total requerimentes for this component with the details of it and its pegged requerimentes (in this case those are: S1, S2, S3 and Fin1.)
Otherwise, you can use a Simulation Order, w/ tx CO01S - Create , for create a whole requeriment for 1 qty of your Fin1, go to "components" & checkit the total requerimentes for the component "a".
I guess you could tru this 2 opts and let me know if those were useful for u.
I hope, it is.
