Hello Gurus!
I need to schedule a Process Chain to run only the first 10 days of a month, but I don't know how!
I know how to schedule for the first day of the month, but I have no idea to "replicate" this schedule for the others days.
Somebody has some suggestion?
Thanks for your help
Allisson.
Create a calendar for the same where only the first 10 days are working and the rest are holidays and then use this calendar for scheduling the chain.
SCAL TCode should help you create the calendar.

Hi,
We can go for workaround method using ABAP program, where it will raise an event which inturn trigger the process chain only for first ten days of the month. We can schedule this ABAP code to run as background job every day.
Even your requirement changes you can simply can make changes to the code.

I suggested a calendar because in some cases the first 11 days may later become first 10 days or something like that and a calendar is easy to configure but the initial effort of creating the calendar for each month is still there.
Another option is as mentioned to have an ABAP program which takes sy-datum and finds the day number and accordingly raises an event to trigger your process chain...

Hi........
U know how to schedule the chain for the first time........so schedule the chain for the 1st day...........
Then in the Planning view of the chain .......right click on the Start process >> Display scheduled jobs >> select the released job>> in the top there is a JOb tab..........click on it and select Repeat scheduling >> there change the date and give the second date..........save it......come out.......one in the Planning view u will see that the Start processis in red colour............it means that there is more than one scheduled job for the chain........Again right click on the Start process >> Display scheduled jobs...................now u will see that there are two jobs...............in this way u can create 10 released jobs..........for each day..............then the chain will run only in the first 10 days of the month...........
Hope this helps..........

Debjani.......
