Material Deletion CR leads to activation error.

Material deletion from standard CR types leads to activation error. SLG1 gives some error messages (Like value is not allowed for the field) . We don't want any validation to happen for delete scenario. We have disabled the validation checks at step level and also made entities as non-relevant.

Please advice.

I guess, in your scenario some of the field has been maintained with wrong value against check table/fixed domain values and it causing this issue. Implicit check will always happen during against check table during activation time. Request to correct data inconsistency and try again.

Even if you change the validation checks and make it non-relevant, it won't work. You need to change the message type to warning in configuration of message type. You can get the number and perform the change. But this is non-recommended practice as it may affect other areas.

Thanks for your reply. We are setting the delete flag because the data is not correct and we do not require the material henceforth. We dont want data validations to take place for delete material cr type.

Any suggestions, is there any standard way to achieve this requirement ?
