IDoc to File interface

Hi Experts Team,

My scenario is IDoc to File interface. I need to create 12 different files based on the Plant code (WERKS). At the end of the day, i need to ftp the file to different locations. How can I do the design and is there any need for BPM here?

Please explain..

Thanks & Regards,

Kanda

    Hi S.P ,

You may use the variable substitution functionality of receiver file adapter and can generate the file based on the xml payload content which contains your WERKS field.

You may refer the following blogs for the understanding of the concept.

use the message split feature (1:N transformation).

follow the blog for having to NOT use BPM - /people/jin.shin/blog/2006/02/07/multi-mapping-without-bpm--yes-it146s-possible

    Hi

Use 1:N Mapping. If u are using BPM then Split file on the basis of Correlation ID(Create Correlation ID on Plant Code field).

    use this blog

For your first requirement, perform multimapping.

For your second requirement, if the file transfer timings are fixed, then you may create another scenario (file to file using XI) and schedule the channel using Planning Availability Times.
