Consumer Account Group process between ECC and CRM

Hi There,

Can someone help me out how to replicate the Consumer (Account Group 0170) created in CRM to ECC.
I have maintained the PIDE settings CRM->R3 with classification A and E with number range as external in ECC internal in CRM.

when i create a customer and add account group '0170-Consumer' it should go to ECC but its not flowing.

please share your views or if you have documentation on it that would be really helpful.

My requirement is first i create consumer in crm at that point in time consumer should not flow to ECC and later based on business created consumer can be assigned to account group '0170' and role of consumer. now this should replicate.

My problem in this after consumer create when i tried to assign account group 0170 from GUI/WEBUI am getting error message stating "Account group 0170 reserved for consumers". any idea on this?.

due to above error, at the time of creation of consumer am assigning account group and role as consumer now it is getting replicated to ecc post mandatory fields filled in, but down the line i have to restrict (if above approach did not help i.e. post creation mapping account group and consumer role) triggering to ecc based on some condition as i don;'t want to replicate to ecc all consumers only qualified ones want to replicate.

PIDE settings, number ranges and groupings maintained correctly.

Hi Venky

Could you check your settings maintained in transaction PIDE in ECC and also your number range and groupings.

The Bdoc error which states "Updating could not be completed" could be due to data inconsistencies. Note 609766 contains a report to correct data inconsistencies.

do we have any documentation on Consumer process ?. i see we have lot of limitations using consumer account group 0170 in both ECC and CRM.
per KBA note 2217081, we can assign consumer role later to an already created individual account. so we have decided to create those in consumer role and it worked. replication is working between CRM and ECC. but i see at ECC its not showing sales area and company code data for consumers. we have maintained reference customer for consumers in both ecc and crm but still did not see sa and cc data.

and also we would like to maintain different ship to address for consumers, any idea how can we achieve this without or minimal development. what am thinking is giving an option to create new consumer with ship to address.

please assist.

hello friends,

can someone help me out?. I was able to download from ECC, but from CRM -> ECC i am getting below couple of errors.

1. first i create account consumer group and later when i tried to add Account Group to - 0170- Consumer it says ' Account group 0170 reserved for consumers' . this way i can't push to ecc.

2. in second option at the time of creation itself am selecting grouping and role (CRM006 in crm mapped to 0170 account group in ecc) BDOC was generated and failed to send. BDOC error states ' Updating could not be completed' (Message : S& - 150).

please help.
