Automatic updation of the organisation units in IM

Dear experts,

Our Client wanted to view the organisational units automatically, when creating the Appropriation request (in IMA11) by assigning the particular position ID (by the given data in position ID in T.code IM22), say for eg.for the particular Business area.

But in my case it is not happening.pls suggest.what config.settings I have to do to get it solved.

Dear Sanju.

As far as i know that is not possible, what you can do is , mention the organizational Units in the Investment management Program Coding mask. For e.g

Say you company's name is SONY

Program node can be

SONY

Organizational Details for instant consider 4 plants, may be numerical say

2000

Its cost center for the Plant say

202001

so finally your Position ID will look like

SONY/2000/202001/Department/

I hope you understood the Logic, the approver will come to know the location the costcenter and the department from which the Appropriation request has been initiated.
