Over the Counter Sales - Showroom

Hi,

we want to do over the counter sales in a showroom. The showroom is is defined as an sales office in the same sales organization. This is needed, as we always send email to the customers in standard sales, but on over the counter sales we want to print out invoices and sales order confirmations.

In general there will be different settings for the output channels of documents on over the counter sales and standard sales orders (in our case from the webshop).

Is there any way to define a different sales office as a stanard in over the counter sales? This would fix all of our problems.

    Hello Klaus,

    You can check the organizational work distribution function: "Sales Unit for Sales" in Organizational Management work center.

    In the work distribution, you can setup rules how system determines the sales unit for the sales documents. For example, if account is ABC then the default sales unit is P1101.

    Hi Adi,

    thanks for your answer, but that doesn't realy solve the problem.

    All accounts -plus new ones- may come to the showroom and buy. Possible selection there are company, country, state, city and postal code.

    As far as I consider these data refer to the accounts. But that would not solve the problem.

    What I would need is a selection like:

    -over the counter sales -> sales showroom

    -standard (webshop) sales -> backoffice sales

    The backoffice sales guys also work for the showroom. Therefore I cannot set employee work distribution.

    • Hello Klaus,

      OTC sales is using Invoice Request template group. When maintaining the output channel selection rule, you can select Printer as output channel for Invoice Request.
