Logging the deletion of released jobs

Hi experts

I would like to know the best way to log the deletion of released jobs from SAP. Till now I know that there are 2 methods:

  • Logging of tables TBTCO and TBTCS in DBTABLOG via SE11/SE13
  • Note 850885 - Logging the deletion of jobs (https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/850885)

The first works very well, but affects too much the grow and performance of the DB(in 2 years the 20% of DB is allocated by DBTABLOG, and the 98% of this table is generated by TBTCO and TBTCS). OK, it's possible to archive these logs with SARA but the performance are still affected

The second method does what I want, but it doesn't trigger an alert and when I reboot SAP I lose the logs of the old workprocess(ST11). It's hard to realize that a released job disappear without an alert or something else in few time. DBTABLOG is always available, workprocess logs not

I've seen the transaction SM19/SM20 (Security Audit Logs) but there aren't alerts of this type

DBTABLOG monitors also if someone changes the variant inside a job, and this is useful. I don't know other ways to do that

Any better idea of these to monitor the job deletion?

Thanks,
Marco
