Source system creation in BW modelling - HANA 2.0

Hi ,

Can someone please tell me the exact navigation for BW modelling > Project explorer > Source system creation from the HANA studio in 2.0 database.

I see only the HANA modeller in windows > perspective> open perspective > other

from HANA studio. Pls check the attached screenshot.

Have you installed the BW Tools for your HANA Studio installation?

PS: By the way, I removed the not appropriate SAP HANA tags from your question.

dont think so..can you pls tell me how to install them separately on the HANA studio?

are they version specific?

You need to install and use the BW Modeling perspective for that instead of the HANA Modeling perspective.

1. In Eclipse, choose in the menu bar Help > Install New Software...
2. For Eclipse 2018-09 (4.9), add the URL https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/2018-09
3. Press Enter to display the available features.
4. Select Modeling Tools for SAP BW/4HANA and SAP BW powered by SAP HANA and choose Next.
5. On the next wizard page, you get an overview of the features to be installed. Choose Next.
6. Confirm the license agreements and choose Finish to start the installation.

After that, open the BW Modeling perspective. In the Project Explorer on the let side of your screen you can add Source Systems and DataSources. More info about creating a Source System here:
