HI,
1 - Create the system entry using SAP Logon pad . make sure you are able to login to the system from sap logon pad. then u will see the same entry in easyDMS logon screen - no need to add anything here about different parameters.
2- once step 1 is done and you still get the same error - then it means the system connection is not available for using an RFC connection .. there you need to talk to basis guy for more information.
3- in easyDMS logon screen - click on SAP Logo - it will open a new window - there select rfc traces..and logon - it will create rfc traces which will help you to find out the root cause of this issue
there is a possibility that u may not have authorizations on RFC FM to execute them

anu

Hi,
Along with entering system address in host file, have you defined new SAP System under Available Systems tab??
if this is done then there wont be any RFC error.
Thank You,
Manoj

Hi,
Add the name of the sap server in your host file. Log off your machine and see it again.
