will creating cost element in dev client reflects in prod client?

Hi,

i have a problem here, while testing f-43 in dev cilent i found that its not posting for a gl account because cost element was not created.so i went to ka01 and created cost element and did some test postings.will it make any problems in my customer's prod client?
