consignment info record

Hi Experts,

I have created purchased order (me21n) with item category K and created consignment info record also. There net price is mandatory. I have taken goods receipt and goods issued to cost center by 201K.

when I settle the vendor consignment through MRKO, system is packing the price from info record.

My question is, we have procured the material last month at Rs.10/kg. Today I have consumed 5 Kg material and today"s rate is Rs.12/kg.

I have created the info record @ Rs.10/- and system is settling the same at Rs.10/- only instead of 12/- (market price).

Hope you understand my question and help me by solving the same.

inorder to update the new price of material @ Rs 12/ kg, the info record price is to be updated so that each time thereafter the new price is picked up for the consignment consumption settlement in MRKO.

Hi Mr. Amjad,

Thanks for your immediate reply. But, how and where we can update the price. Because, in consignment PO, we don't give price and in info record because it will be in disable mode.

can you clarify in detail please.

when u withdraw the goods for own use- say 261 or 411- it would create liabialit for that vendor

then in MRKO- this net prioce would get used for knowing how much to pay vendor

Hi,

Info record's price is taken for the purpose when you perform a goods issue or transfer to your company's own stock.

The system wont settle using the current price from the info record,but from the price used when you made a GI(Accounting document price).

Validity periods for the price in info records is for issual of material ,not for settlement.

for consignment settlement price is always refered from Consignment info recod and not from PO

This is std. SAP setting

If u want to settle same by 12 u need to make info record settings accordingly
