Hello SAP Experts,

In which SCREEN, can we find the u201CRequirement Classu201D field??

Moreover, what are the Requirement Classes for the MTS and MTO production scenarios respectively???

Dear,

Requirements class doing major role in planning strategy. These functions are,

1. Consumption of Ind requirement & customer requirement

2. How warehouse stock taken into account

3. Make to stock or Make to order

4. Planned order can be released or not

5. Req distribution.

This req class is assigned with requirement type. This demand req type & customer requirement type assigned in strategy.

Max of seven strategy grouped in strategy group. This group is assigned in material master MRP3 view.

Ex. Strategy10.

Requirement class 100. This is linked with req type LSF.

This req type LSF & cus req type KSL linked with strategy (10).

This strategy linked with strategy group. Group is assigned in material master.

you can see the requirement for a particular line item in the procument tab. This requirement type is assigned to a requirement class in t.code OVZH. and requirement results with the combination of

item category + MRP type -

and also same is the case with regards to schedule line category.

Same are use in MTO without independent require,ent class.

For make to Stock or Make to order we can get Requirement class in TCode: OMP1.
