about crystal reports

i have down loaded 30 days trial version of crystal reports server from Business objects..

it is showing XAMPP control panel.. what is the use of this one..

how do design a crystal report .. how to use this server..

do i need any further softwares to design a report..

i am a new learner .. plz help me in this regard...
