Picking for Delivery

Hello,

The transaction VL06P does the picking for multiple deliveries, I would like to ask for the method to do picking for a single delivery document.

Hi I went to the VL02n and tried to change the delivery order, but the Picking Quantity has been disabled and I cannot manually enter a value there. Using VL06P is ok but I would like to do Picking for just a single order

Please check the Delivery item category.

See if the picking checkbox is checked or not and if it is not then check it if the item is relevant for picking.

Hi,

I think so WM is active for your plant so you have to create transfer order for that particular outbound delivery.

just go to VL02N and enter your delivery no.

In top you will see Subsequent Function in that click on create transfer order.

now create the transfer order and save it

after saving it you will see that pick quantity will be same as delivery quantity.

just try this process you will succeed

Hi

You can go to LT03, put the Warehouse number, Delivery number , Plant, select back ground and press enter, your Picking will be done .

Now you can again check the Delivery document, in the picking overview screen you will find now the delivery quantity has been copied as picking quantity. You need not have to enter the picking quantity manually.As Delivery quantity and picking quantity has to be same that is why system copies it automatically.

Another way, go to VL02N, in the Menubar click on "Subsequent function" > Create Transfer order and proceed.

Hi there,

If the delivery is not relevant for WM, then you can manually update the picking quantity in VL02N --> Picking view.

If the delivery is relevant for WM, then in VL02N --> picking, TO required will be updated in picking status. thenyou need to create a transfer order TO. When you confirm the TO, only then items will be picked.

Plsnote that for creating the TO, you need to create storage bins & storage type.

If it is for single delivery then it is VL01N and if it is for multiple deliveries then it is VL06P .
