Report on Service seniority and length of Services

Hi Guru's,

Our client is a Indian PSU , and they consider Service seniority and length of Services Report and information which is used for making Promotion list considered with Roster Points.

Which is the report which can be used for the same. And how can we use IT553 & IT552 for getting the same information Employee number wise.

Each answer will be valuable ...and will be rewarded.

Hi,

First ,you should configure all nodes under IMG->Personnel Management->Personnel Administration->Evaluation Basis->Calculation of Employment Period->Calculation Process.

Then IT 0553 will calculate SENIORITY when you push "Run Calculation" button.

For reporting, there's another way to acheive this.

ABAP function HR_SENIORITY has the same funtion of SENIORITY calculation. Call this function for every employee you can get SENIORITY of him/her. Remember that no matter you use infotype or ABAP function, do IMG configuration first.

Hi Kee,

I am also facing this problem, i am not able to calculate senioiry process. When i am doing this node "Start Test Utility for Employment Period Calculation" i am pertaining following error.

If i select the calculation process;

L'exit de sélection ne peut s'appliquer sans initialisation du corps.

If i select the valuation model:

Assignment to valuation model is missing for calculation process 25 SGLS

the above error messages are coming. Where i missed the configuration steps.

As per my knowledge i have done all setting configuration.

Did you check these steps:

Define Calculation Process

Define Process Step

Assign Valuation Model and Rounding Rule to Process Step

They are linked. According to your symptom I guess there is something wrong in the config chain.

Hi,

You can use the standard SAP Query /SAPQUERY/H2, as you knew the T codes are SQ01, SQ02 and SQ03. Moreover you can append those two infotypes in this query for your report.
