WEB IDE getting error while importing a project from ABAP Repository "On-Premise."

Hello All,

I am trying to import project from my gateway (On-Premise) system .

I have added file in this location without ".txt extension ": \SAP_Webide\eclipse\config_master\service.destinations\destinations

Destinations file:

I am getting below error while import project from gateway (On-Premise)system. Error 404 proxyServlet:/destination/<system ID>/sap/bc/adt/discovery

Can you pls any one give me input that what am missing out in config.

Please make sure your destination file name is exactly as your destination name.

Are you able to get the discovery XML directly from your system?

Try in the browser: https://<your system host and port>/sap/bc/adt/discovery and see if you get the discovery xml.

Also, do you have a paid license for Web IDE? If so, I would open a support ticket (use component CA-WDE).

Hello SAM,

Please consider these 3 points:

1.

Try to open the url "/sap/bc/adt/discovery" on your backend system in a browser and see if a valid XML is returned using the same logon credentials provided in the destination. It is important to retrieve this XML file EXACTLY with the same user credentials defined in the destination file.

You have mentioned you do open

https://<your system host and port>/sap/bc/adt/discovery

but have you opened it with these user credentials?

If XML is not returned, apply the note 2597927.

2.

If there is a proxy configuration active in your browser, please apply the same proxy configuration to the Orion Application Server in the orion.ini file.

3.

Please make the name of the destination file is matching with the "Name=" property value. I do not see on the screenshot so long string in the setting Name= , while the name of the file is "DESTINATION". Please make them very same.

Please set up these values are...

Authentication=NoAuthentication
ProxyType=Internet

You need to set up the HTTPS port of the SAP NW ABAP which is used for HTTPS communication. Please inspect the instance profiles. (\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\profile)

2.

Please remove the last entry from WebIDEUsage

In other words make it like this:

WebIDEUsage=odata_abap,dev_abap,odata_gen,ui5_execute_abap,bsp_execute_abap,odata_xs

3.

Cross check whether the node /sap/bc/adt/discovery is active on your on-premise gateway system.

4.

What is the version of yours SAP_BASIS? In case of SAP_BASIS is 7.31 SPS14 or later, then these SCAs should be deployed on the SAP NW - UI_INFRA and UI5_731

3. I am not getting sap/bc/adt/discovery path in sicf service.

Only got this path sap/bc/adt ,which have activated.

I have changed the settinga as per your input but getting same error.

pls help some more input.

This is what i provided in my destination file and it works without any issues.

Can you change the proxy type as highlighted below and also check the port for https.
