Inquiry and Quotation

Hi Gurus,

When i create sales order, all prices and taxes comes default in conditions by VK11. But when i create Quotation for same sales area, customer and material system dosent show me prices which i alredy maintained in condition records. This time i enter this manualy in Inquiry and Quotation.

Or when i create inquiry and enter pirces manualy and create quotation w r t inquiry system copies all data but not prices and taxes.

Please tell me where i am doing wrong?

Hi prashant

Check the pricing type that has been maintained in VTAA between IN and QT doc types check the Inquiry and Quotation item category pricing types .This is because of the pricing type only the data wont flow to another document properly

Hi there,

Check of item catg AFN & AGN are relevant for pricing in VOV7.

Also in OVKK, maintain the pricing procedure determination for sales area / doc pricing procedure / customer pricing proc. Check if this is maintained for the IN & QT for your sales area.

Also if you want to carry the same pricing from IN to QT & OR, then in VTAA copy controls at item level, pricng type should have either option G copy pricing elements & redetermine taxes or D copy pricing elements unchanged. Maintain the same pricing type settings from IN to QT & QT to OR.

If you choose to have a diffrent pricing procedure for IN & QT & OR, then in VTAA pricing type should be B carry out new pricing.

Dear Prashant,

Are you creating your Sales Order, independently?

When i create sales order, all prices and taxes comes default in conditions by VK11. But when i create Quotation for same sales area, customer and material system dosent show me prices which i alredy maintained in condition records.

As, Condition Records are getting maintain in to your Sales Order from VK11; whereas, its not working for Quotation.

So, there is no Copy_control between OR -- QT (in VTAA).

But, you have Copy Control between QT -- IN (in VTAA)

Or when i create inquiry and enter pirces manualy and create quotation w r t inquiry system copies all data but not prices and taxes.

Anyways,

Check your settings under:

T. Code: VOV8 (for Doc. Pricing Procedure, for various Sales Doc. Type)

T. Code: OVKK (Pricing Procedure+Condition Type assigmnet to reqd. combination).

T. Code: V/08 ( make your condition type as "Mandatory" in Pricing Procedure)

T. Code: V/06 (maintain your condition type as "B - Automatic entry has priority")

Please check in Tcode OVKK whether the Pricing procedure is assigned to your inquiry and quotation documents(Doc Pricing Procedures)

SalesOrgDistChDivCustPriProcDocPriProc+Pricing Procedure.

Regarding your second issue of copying the pricing conditons...Please check the PRICE TYPE used in the Copy Controls between the documents (Tcode VTAA).

Kindly check the copying requirements and Pricing type, in copy contrls between Inq to quatation..Tcode is VTAA..
