Inspection Lot Stock tab missing

Dears

I have returned an earlier released batch to qual, insp for retesting without checking material characteristics in inspec type 09 in QM view so the generated inspec lot doesn't allow me to record results then I've checked it and make a new inspec lot and recoded results but when I'm trying to release the batch and deduct the sample I didn't find Inspection Lot Stock tab.

Any suggestions please

Hi

Can you let me know which transaction code was used to create the new inspection lot?

Regards

Raghavendra

Dear Mostafa Mahmoud,

in case the 'Inspection lot stock' tab is missing during the usage decision, the inspection lot is most probably not relevant for stock posting (or inconsistent). For example if you created the second 09er inspection lot manually, the lot will not handle any stock.

Please visit SAP Help Portal for more information:

'Stock Management in QM'

I wish you a nice day,

Thanks Albert, ok now how can I make the manually created inspection lot relevant for stock posting?

Dear Mostafa,

manually created inspection lots remain non-stock relevant. Stock relevant inspection lots are generated automatically by a process, like in your case probably the recurring inspection / deadline monitoring of batches process.

The documentation of transaction QA07 can provide more information, and also SAP Help at:

'Recurring Inspections for Batch Materials'

Have a nice day,

Albert
