using SAP to make sure controls are in place- checking individual limits

how can an auditor use SAP to test to see if the system has limits for certain transactions; for example if a sales representative cannot place a sale above 50,000 will the system stop it? or send up a flag to management that someone placed a large sale?

the auditor needs to check if controls are in place.
